I’m Zach. I’m from all over (AZ, OH, VA, ME, MA), and I call New England my home.
By day, I cook for the Beacon Hill Friends House, a Quaker boarding house in downtown Boston. In my spare time I make electronic music.
I’m a Quaker, if an often-disillusioned one, and I’m interested in figuring out how to carry the best Quaker wisdom forward into a post-religious context. In that vein, I’m also a humanist.
In 2010, I quit my job as a neuroscience lab administrator and went on a roadtrip throughout the Great Lakes and Canada as a professional gambler, which piqued my interest in a long list of mathematical and neuroscientific topics (statistics, mathematical literacy, reward).
